The relationship between humans and cats is an ancient one. To date, humans and kittens still relate with each other, as humans keep them as pets. It is said that the United States alone accommodated about 82 million kittens as of 2007.
This special interest in cats has encouraged the breeding of kittens. Today, we have so many varieties of cat, it’s hard to count! From the Abyssinian and the American Curl, to the American Wirehair Bengal and the British Longhair.
Among the varieties of cat breeds, some are hairy while others – short haired. Examples of the fluffy breeds include the Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Persian, Norwegian forest, Balinese, American curl, Turkish Angora, and Long haired Bengal Cat, to mention a few.
