George RR Martin is a famous novelist and writer best known for his series of epic fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire. He became even more popular when his series was adapted into the HBO series Game of Thrones.
With the final season of GoT upon us, This is Us creator Dan Fogelman shared a heartwarming celebrity encounter with the renowned author and people are very touched.
In the post, Fogelman tweeted a story of him and his friend Alex Hanan meeting Martin at a Broadway show in 2017. He described Hanan as “handsome and charming,” and went on to say “He’s also obsessed w Game of Thrones like no one you’ve ever known. And he never listens to anyone so I just KNOW he’s going to go accost George R. Martin.”
