Luna is an adorable two-year-old blind Bengal cat who got adopted by Aritta Gimpuzzi and her husband. Although the pair never thought about adopting a cat, they fell in love with her while browsing for used furniture.
“Lunas’s previous owners got her from a breeder who never mentioned her condition. As soon as they got home, they realized that she was different from the other three Bengals they already had,” Luna’s mom wrote on Bored Panda. “She was getting bullied by the other pets and because she couldn’t defend herself, the place became too stressful for a blind cat.”
Gimpuzzi says that she is constantly concerned about Luna’s safety, so she decided to ask for suggestions on how to protect her tiny head.
“Soon, a couple people messaged me offering to make crochet hats for her. And a few weeks later two very nice ladies gifted us with the cutest little hats I have ever seen,” and added that she has been putting them on her for a couple of hours a day when she doesn’t mind, however, when it begins to bother her, she takes them off.
