Artist Re-Imagines” The Mandalorian” As Retro Comic Book Covers

Vadim Dvoeglazov is a Russian artist best known as dvglzv on Instagram where he has gathered more than 14,000 followers. Being a true Star Wars fan, he paid tribute to the series by creating vintage-looking comic book covers that sum up each of the episodes of The Mandalorian season 1.

“Since childhood, I was not indifferent to comics and Star Wars universe. I really love the retro aesthetics of comic books of the 50-80s. I can name Jack Kirby as my inspiration. I often use his drawing style for my work,” the artist shared with Bored Panda.

According to the likes and comments, the feedback was more than amazing. Thousands of likes and questions about purchasing his prints are proof that Dvoeglazov is doing a great job.

Besides his obsession with the Star Wars saga, he draws other retro covers, as well. Like for example, in his gallery, you can find covers dedicated to Batman, Joker, Black Mirror, etc.
