Brenna Mazzoni is a makeup and special effects hobbyist whose work looks as far from amateur as possible. She started doing it when she became a stay-at-home mom, and we must wonder what her kids think of her dressing up as a different character every day.

“They’re not quite old enough to be into creepy things,” she toldSYFY, “but I anticipate being asked to turn them into zombies in a few years.”

Mazzoni spends hours on a single look and uses body paint, makeup, and sometimes prosthetics.
