Polina Verbytska is an artist and jeweler who creates realistic-looking sculptures and jewelry. Also known as weridsculpture on Instagram, the Kiev, Ukraine-based crafter spends long hours creating her art. In her work, she uses polymer clay to sculpt and resin to cover it.
“Although most of my sculptures are large, I feel that there is something special about miniatures,” Verbytska shared on Bored Panda.” This technique allows me to bring images from my deep subconscious to life. I know that people may think that it is too weird to wear something like this, but for me, it is to have your own little piece of art, which is always with you. And also I don’t see my works as something ‘creepy’, it just a miracle of life in all its forms.”
Verbytska shares her creations on Instagram, where she has gathered over 15.2 thousand followers. She also has an Etsy store where she sells all of her miniatures and jewelry.
