Marius Guiet Draws Illustrations With a Twist

Marius Guiet is a 32-year-old freelance illustrator and artist living and working in Paris. When he turned 18, he moved from a city near Normandy to the capital of France to study art and fashion. Inspired by everything and anything, especially architecture and nature, alongside other artists and illustrators, Guiet creates colorful digital illustrations with a twist.

“I try to make some simple, poetic and minimalistic images that give the viewer a feeling. Color is very important too, I always try to use color as a tool to express what I want to,” the artist told in an interview for Ballpit.

In the beginning, he used to draw and paint with classical mediums like colored pencil and acrylic painting. “Now I spend 90% of my creating and illustrating time using an iPad pro and the procreate app. It’s very convenient because I can work where ever I want!”
