Grace Chon, also known as thegracechon on social media, conjoined the two things she adores the most: photography and animals, and become an animal photographer. Her photo series called “HAIRY” which began in 2016 grow into a big internet sensation, however, nowadays, she expanded her series by photographing more than 30 dogs before and after their haircuts.

All the doggy models have been groomed in a Japanese grooming style, which means there are no traditional, breed-standard grooming rules. It has only one mission; to bring out the furry buddies’ individual personalities and make them as cute as possible!

Her book called “PUPPY STYLED” which brings together the best photos of dog’s makeovers is now available in stores.

Scroll down to have a sneak peak of the doggylishous photos.

I'm incredibly honored that my HAIRY series was selected as a winner of THE FENCE 2018. It is a large-scale traveling photography exhibition reaching 6 million visitors annually through open-air exhibitions in 8 cities across North America. 5 before + after images will be displayed in BROOKLYN, BOSTON, ATLANTA, SANTA FE, DURHAM, DENVER, SARASOTA, and CALGARY. If you live in any of these cities, I hope you'll get a chance to check it out! . Right now the exhibit is in Brooklyn, until September 10th. If you're in New York I hope you can go see it in person, and if you go, please send me photos!!! And if your dogs are in the shots, even better! Thanks to @thebrooklynbettina for this adorable shot of her dog Lily in front of my images, and to @beccagilmartin for the video. And most of all, thank you to the jury and @photovillenyc @united_photo ! . . #gracechoninc #hairyseries #commercialphotography #dogphotography #brooklyn #photoville #photovillenyc #photoville2018
